Abraham “Bram” Stoker, (8 November 1847 – 20 April 1912) the author of the famous novel “Dracula,” was born on November 08, 1847, in 15 Marino Crescent, Clontarf, a suburb of Dublin, Ireland

During his lifetime, he was better known as the personal assistant of actor Sir Henry Irving and business manager of the West End’s Lyceum Theatre, which Irving owned.

Bram Stoker is best known for his Gothic horror novel “Dracula,” published in 1897. The novel introduced the iconic character of Count Dracula, a vampire, and has had a lasting influence on the horror genre in literature and popular culture.

Stoker’s work continues to be celebrated and adapted in various forms, making him one of the most famous Irish authors in the horror genre.
